The tourist port, Marina Porto Antico is located in the magnificent historical centre of Genoa and is made up of:

  • three buildings;
  • two underground parking areas (one open to the public, the other reserved for clients of the marina);
  • an enchanting marina leading to the centre of the historical centre of the city;
  • over 10,000 square metres of open space that complete and expand the boardwalk to the Aquarium and the Porto Antico towards the Museo del Mare and cruise ship terminal.

The marina has 270 spaces for boats from 10 to 75 metres in length, with no draught issues, with cement piers and wooden rub rails, supplied with stations for the supply of drinking water and electricity. In addition, access to the jetty is regulated with electronic gates to guarantee clients maximum privacy. Within the marina is also a characteristic Ligurian dockyard which can accommodate a number of vessels between 5 and 7 metres and where there are always some splendid skiffs and Ligurian leudi docked.

In addition to offering secure and comfortable mooring spaces and a reserved parking area for clients, Marina Porto Antico also has over 230 spaces in the public parking area of Calata Salumi, open 24/7 and managed on a rotating basis. The parking area, easy to reach from the Genova-Ovest exit or from Via Gramsci, is convenient for the entire area of the Porto Antico and has conventions in place with a number of hotels located in the area.

Thanks to its strategic position near the metro station and bus stops, this marina is the perfect place to be in order to visit Genoa on foot. In addition, the nearness to the Cristoforo Colombo international airport, the Genova Piazza Principe train station and the Genova-Ovest highway exit, make any destination easy to reach.

The tourist port, Marina Porto Antico can be reached by sea through the access channel from Bocca di Levante in the Porto di Genova, through a 40 metre corridor to the right entering the port. Access times are continuous and sailing for all vessels must be done exclusively using engine propulsion, as it is forbidden to use sails throughout the port. Within the marina the speed limit is 3 knots (5.5 km/h).
