It has been 100 years since that October of 1920 in which the Razeto brothers, with Carlo Casareto, gave life to the company F.lli Razeto & Casaretoin a small shop in the heart of Sori. An important anniversary, which will be celebrated during the 60th Genoa Boat Show.

A HUNDRED YEARS OF F.LLI RAZETO & CASARETO

Our company – explain Andrea and Giangi Razeto, heirs to the founder and now running the company – is participating in the Boat Show for the 52nd time and it is natural for us to want to celebrate in Genoa, on the 1st of October one hundred years later

For the occasion the public will be presented the Centenario handle, the first of a limited edition collection which will celebrate the work and success of a story made up of talent and creativity, achievements and recognition.

Since our company is so rooted in the local area – note the Razeto brothers – and embodies all those characteristics of creativity, hard work, frugality and respect for the environment which are a part of our culture, we decided to use these characteristics as the narrative to our collection.

Through our partnership with Vigo Mosaici, a historical company in Campoligure which also 100% believes in the same Ligurian characteristics, came the idea – add the owners – to create a series of luxury artistic handles, using recycled local materials, in which the art is in the exemplary technique and creativity, not through precious materials.

THE CENTENARIO HANDLE

Handle number 00, on display at the Boat Show, stands out because of its handle grip, which is covered in a micro-mosaic, recreating the company logo. This is the first result using recycled materials, recovered in particular from Genoese grit, known as “zetto” in dialect, which was removed during the recent renovation of the head offices of F.lli Razeto & Casareto.

The recovered material – conclude Andrea and Giangi Razeto – a symbol of circular economy which has always been a part of our local culture, will create new works of art: unique handles, a symbol of our roots, of our company and of our land.
