Sanlorenzo’s recovery will be in the name of steel. With 62Steel they have redefined the standards for metal super yachts

62Steel is the new product created by Sanlorenzo. With two units already sold and another under construction, the new super yacht will officially début at the 2020 Monaco Yacht Show.

At the moment, like for many others, construction is on stand-by. But, notwithstanding this period of great worry, Sanlorenzo wants to look to the future with positivity, focusing on a project which will promote the work of the entire team, from the technical to the style department as well as the artisans.

Its name is 62Steel and it is 100% made by Sanlorenzo. The design will be completed thanks to the extremely high quality work of the entire Sanlorenzo team, the real driving force of the shipyard from which everything will start again. To see it in water though, we will have to wait for the Monaco Yacht Show 2020.

The vessel has incredible spaces and a vast and sumptuous apartment for the owner, a large main room and a majestic Beach Club on the Lower deck.

Among the elements that make the design on the 62Steel stand out are the owner’s apartment, which covers 210m2, of which 97m2 are covered and divided into a sleep area, studio, two spacious bathrooms and a walk-in dressing room, as well as 123 square metres in the open on the bow of the upper deck, the Owner Deck.

Focusing on conviviality on the yacht, the main room on the Main Deck shares 90 square metres of the area with the covered dining area, that can host up to 16 people. On the stern of this deck, the external living space leads to the guest pool, designed with a retractable cover, transforming it into an extensive sun deck of nearly 8 square metres.

Lastly, at the stern of the Lower Deck, is the Beach Club, which covers an area of 92m2 housing a relaxation area, bar area, gym and Turkish bath, to which are added another 40m2 of pull-down terrace area to the stern and to the two sides, offering guests the chance to enjoy the waterline for swimming, diving and tanning, enhanced by the sparkle of the water.

62Steel has been designed by the technical and style department of Sanlorenzo, who designed a super yacht with low and sleek lines. The structure, space and layout were designed starting with the concept of 64Steel, the  64-metre-long Sanlorenzo flagship of 1600 GRT: a yacht which established a new standard in the industry.

Sanlorenzo 62Steel will officially début at the 2020 Monaco Yacht Show. Three units are already under construction the first, which will be launched in May 2020, the second in April 2021 and the third with delivery planned for 2022.
