Prawns with pancetta
A mix of flavours: prawns and pancetta, a delicious duo that is easy to make
12 fresh prawns
12 thin slices of pancetta
Begin by cleaning the prawns: remove the heads and legs, then remove the shell and devein, but leave the tail so they are easier to hold.
Wrap each prawn in a slice of pancetta and keep closed with a cocktail stick. You can even thread them onto a skewer, it is good to be creative!
Lay on a lined baking sheet, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper then cook at 180°C (convection oven) for about 15 minutes. Be careful not to burn the pancetta. Serve hot. These are a perfect appetizer accompanied by a glass of bubbly or some ice cold beer.
