Oversize transport on the highway to Viareggio for the hull of the new Amer 120’
The delivery of the Amer 120’ super yacht is planned for 2021
With oversize transport on the highway taking over 72 hours, the hull of the new super yacht, Amer 120’, the future flagship of the prestigious brand, Amer Yachts, reached the shipyard in Viareggio.
The ground transport of the hull, leaving from the site of Donoratico (Livorno), involved the work of a number of escorts and logistics teams and is a sign that Italy is not at a standstill, with the nautical industry contributing significantly to exports.
Planning logistics and infrastructure with a view to oversize loads will be the challenge for future manufacturing, with the hope that every region will work to budget a share of the Recovery Fund to the improvement of the road network, so as to facilitate free road circulation of large goods.
The delivery of the Amer 120’ is planned for 2021, in the meantime, here is an exciting video, showing the incredible work carried out by the logistics teams, an integral and fundamental part of the entire production chain.
